Default Charr knew about prophecies/titans?

Hey i just played throught the nolani academy and in front of the academy there is a hole with fire. I always thought that the thing in the middle of the hole was just a burnt down tree or tent or something. Today i gave it a closer look and... its a titan! Of course its not a real titan and its not a dead titan, but its a titan. Its like a wooden construction with three legs and two arms and a head, and it represents a titan. Did the cahrr know of the prophecies or how do they know about the titans?

There are also titan effigies in presearing north of the wall where the charr are.

There have been a couple of threads about this in the Druid's Overlook (?) forum discussing the lore of guildwars. Pretty interesting read, check it out.

Even if search is working then searching the word Titan would net tons of results.
Sometimes its just easier to ask.

They also have burning poles in several places that look like they symbolize mursaat burnt at the stake.

Charr worship the titans. And the Mursaat, strangely enough.

Perhaps they were once dominated by the titans, and became servants to their overwhelming power. Much like the white mantle to the mursaat, and so on.

There is some debate as to are they Mursaat or Lich. Let's assume that they are Mursaat, which are the enimies of the Titans, either they didn't understand the significance of the Titan/Mursaat conflict or the Mursaat hold the same place in the Char religion as Satan does in the Christian religion. You will notice that the Char put the effigies at key location but not at their camps.

Then again, someone gave the Char the crystal power, and I don't think it was the Mursaat.

I don't believe they worship the Mursaat. They put up burning effigies representing them, but there's this to consider: a burning Titan is a Titan that's doing just fine, while a burning Mursaat is pretty much a dead Mursaat.

I know I wouldn't feel worshipped if someone put up a burning effigy of me. I'd look into a restraining order.
